Austral Motorhomes

Austral Motorhomes, based in Chevallum, Queensland, specialises in off-road, 4x4-capable slide-on campers designed for off-grid adventures. Their models, such as the Campo, Scout, Savanna 3.5, and Savanna 4.2, are constructed with high-grade aluminium and composite panels, offering durability and comfort for exploring Australia's diverse landscapes.

Customer feedback highlights both strengths and areas for improvement. Positive reviews commend the company's helpful and knowledgeable staff, as well as the quality and attention to detail in their campers. For instance, David Hall noted that the product and equipment met all of his expectations, and he would recommend Austral Motorhomes to prospective purchasers. Similarly, Colin Jones mentioned that, after looking at many other brands, he found Austral's quality, attention to detail, fit, and finish to be among the best, and very well priced.

However, some customers have reported issues with after-sales service and product quality. One reviewer expressed dissatisfaction with the after-sale service, advising potential buyers to beware and stating they would not recommend Austral to anyone due to ongoing troubles. Another customer reported receiving a camper with a smashed window, cracked interior light, and poor-quality finish on internal cupboards, indicating concerns about product quality and responsibility during delivery.

In summary, while Austral Motorhomes offers robust, off-road-capable campers that have satisfied many customers, potential buyers should be aware of reported issues regarding after-sales service and product quality. It's advisable to thoroughly inspect the product and clarify service agreements before making a purchase.
