Sunland Caravans

Sunland Caravans, established over 20 years ago in Caboolture, Queensland, is renowned for crafting premium off-road caravans tailored for adventurous travellers. Their models, such as the Explorer, Blue Heeler, and Federation, are celebrated for their robust construction and innovative designs. The company offers a comprehensive 5-year manufacturer's warranty and a 20-year chassis warranty, underscoring their commitment to quality.

Customer feedback on Sunland Caravans is predominantly positive. Owners frequently commend the durability and performance of their caravans in challenging terrains. For instance, one customer shared, "Love our Van, it truly is off road... We encounter van envy regularly." Another noted, "We are more than happy with our Explorer 20ft-6 caravan... Should have had a Sunland Van years ago, this van is stress free."

However, some customers have expressed concerns regarding customer service. A review from three months ago mentioned, "Don't bother trying to contact their 'service dept.', they are not interested in providing any. The new owners only want to sell new vans." Additionally, a review from eight months ago stated, "These must be paid reviews. Very poor customer service. Very rude & loves to be abusive."

In August 2023, Sunland Caravans underwent a change in ownership, with the new owners being the current proprietors of Essential Caravans and Design RV, and Lumberjack Campers. The transition was intended to be seamless, with no immediate changes to staff or operations.

In summary, Sunland Caravans is a reputable manufacturer known for its high-quality off-road caravans. While many customers praise the durability and design of the caravans, some have raised concerns about customer service, particularly following the recent ownership change. Prospective buyers should consider these factors and, if possible, consult with current owners to make an informed decision.
