The Little Caravan Company

The Little Caravan Company, established in 2015 in Melbourne, Australia, has garnered attention for its compact yet well-equipped caravans, notably the X-Plorer and Optimiser Series 2 models. These caravans are designed to offer the amenities of larger models in a more lightweight and towable package.

Customer feedback on the X-Plorer model is generally positive. Reviewers appreciate its off-road capabilities, compact size, and the inclusion of features typically found in larger caravans, such as ample solar power and battery capacity. The innovative slide-out design is also highlighted for enhancing interior space without compromising on towing convenience. However, some reviewers note that the X-Plorer's weight, with a Tare of 2,380kg, may require a robust towing vehicle, which could be a consideration for potential buyers.

The Optimiser Series 2 has received mixed reviews. Its compact size and slide-out feature are praised for creating a surprisingly spacious interior. The inclusion of a bathroom in a 12ft van is noted as a significant advantage. However, some reviewers mention that the internal height may not accommodate taller individuals comfortably. Additionally, while the van is well-equipped for holiday park touring, its off-grid capabilities are considered limited without certain upgrades.
